MetaSystems
Metafer is a software designed to operate microscopes and its accompanying hardware, capture digital images. It helps the user identify, categorise and count human or non-human cells – as well as other items in microscopic specimens.
Features:
- Easily record up to 800 slides in a single session.
- Make use of different contrasting techniques, such as phase contrast, brightfield, fluorescence, darkfield and more.
- Connect and integrate various imaging jobs with ease and take advantage of an automated immersion oil dispenser.
- Turn on barcode reading for specimen tracking and identification.
- Utilise a variety of parameters to build up automated focusing appropriate to the characteristics of the specimen.
- Examine every imaging result in a neatly arranged picture gallery.
- With a single mouse click, relocate objects that have been recognised on the microscope.
- Adapt workflows to your needs with a versatile classifier-based imaging strategy.
Ikaros is a software for the generation of karyograms with real-time microscope images from cultured and stained cell specimens in their metaphase. The labor-intensive manual processing of photographs is eliminated by transferring images of chromosome spreads from the microscope directly to a computer via image processing software.
Features:
- Accommodate a diverse array of banding techniques currently in use.
- Maintain an ongoing record of all processing steps and have unlimited access to the original pictures.
- Seamless switching from one capture setting to another e.g. transition from brightfield to fluorescence and vice versa.
- Colour mode – Effortlessly capture images with a single click, using up to 12 colour channels. This removes the need for time-consuming processing in a dark room.
- Deep Neural Networks (DNN) – Chromosome separation in unprocessed metaphase images facilitated by DNN technology, with the goal of minimizing the need for manual intervention.
