Description

The multi-element detectors on these scanning spectrophotometers measures the entire wavelength range at once, reducing wait times. Measurement modes include photometrics, concentration, optical density (O.D. at 600 nm), quantitation, spectrum scanning, and kinetics. Each dataset contains readings from the complete spectrum, making the data readily available for future analysis.

The orientation of the detector shields the array from stray light€”perform measurements with the lid open, exchange samples quickly, and decreases user errors in results. The large color touch screen is easy to read, and the graphical interface is intuitive. The USB port on the rear connects with a printer (order separately), while the USB on the front accepts flash drives for data storage, quantitation curve uploads, and firmware updates.

This Genova Bio UV/Visible scanning spectrophotometer comes with the DMV-BioCell cuvette which offers high accuracy and reproducibility for direct, low volume measurements of nucleic acids or proteins without the need for a dedicated system. The optical path can be validated to a high degree of accuracy with the included DNACON stable certified reference materials for 260/280 ratio validation.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. Any in stock items on your order will be part-shipped on our standard delivery schedule at no additional charge. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Return Policies

All goods supplied by the Company shall be examined and checked immediately upon receipt by the buyer.

The company should be notified in writing within 48 hours of any damages, shortages or errors in the consignment. No claim whatsoever will be accepted by the Company in respect of any damage or shortage after this time. Where there is a total loss of the Goods in transit, the customer must notify the company within seven days of the invoice. If no such notice is given, the Goods shall be deemed to have been supplied in accordance with the order and to have been accepted by the Buyer. Goods that conform to the Buyer’s order may not be returned without the consent of the Seller.

The Seller reserves the right to impose a handling charge of 20% of the net invoice value for returned Goods. The Seller reserves the right to refuse to accept any Goods returned, for whatever reason, if after inspection such Goods or their packaging prove unsatisfactory in any way. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that any returns are free from biological and chemical hazard. The seller reserves the right to refuse to accept Goods which in its view present a hazard to its staff or which may infringe the Health & Safety at Work legislation.
